Mariana Cannellotto is a doctor graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (2001), specialized in clinical focused on the study of cellular oxidative stress, oxygen metabolism, hyperbaric medicine, study and evaluation of trace elements, iron metabolism, antioxidant enzymes, and their cofactors. Specialist in cellular biological medicine and the impact resulting from the imbalance of these factors in various diseases such as diabetes, scleroderma, cancer, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, among the main ones.
Member of Dr. Guillermo Spirito’s team since 2002, he carried out innumerable training programs in oxidative stress and was a medical participant in the annual Orthomolecular medicine congress in Buenos Aires. Since then, he has been working on the development and application of hyperbaric oxygenation treatment.
Its approach to different diseases is translated into the development and application of different metabolic and bio-oxidant therapies, aimed at slowing down and reversing the course of the pathological process. Additionally, the study of neurodegenerative diseases and their metabolic behavior is currently dedicated.
As President of AAMHEI, Dr. Cannellotto directs the association with the purpose and commitment to continue dedicating to the development and medical research. It also promotes the incorporation of new technologies that contribute to the growth of hyperbaric medicine in the world.
